OpenCore does not accept MAC address

Hello Everyone,

I am running a Hackintosh with the following specs: - Intel i7 6700 - 32 GB DDR4 2166 - Asus Z170-P - Sapphire Pulse RX 580 8 Gb - Kingston A2000 512 Gb M.2 SSD

Recently I made the switch from clover to opencore, which worked quite well since I found an EFI folder from someone with very similar specs. I then adapted his/her info.plist to fix my ethernet and get imessage to work.

For the later, I needed to put my MAC address under the ROM tag in the config.plist. I took the MAC address from my preferences-network-advanced-hardware and copied it into the config and removed the columns so I was only left with something like: 708cfgf0h54 (not my real MAC address)

However, when I safe the config and boot, I get the following message:

OCS: failed to parse data field from type 2

Apparently Opencore doesn't accept my MAC address as a valid data type?

Apart from this message, the system does boot and imessage works.. But I would like to know what I am doing wrong since I literally followed the opencore guide found here on Reddit.

Thank you very much for your help!
