CPU: AMD A10 8500k I'm able to install macOS catalina on my rig using opencore vanilla. My current problem is it will not detect my onboard audio. But it can detect my HDMI LED monitor as an input, its working when I plugged a headset to my monitor. Also i have tried all the layouts of my audio codec ALC887 using boot-args alcid=xxx but still, only the hdmi monitor was detected. Does the sound input & output automatically be filled if you entered the correct layout-id after restart? Sorry I'm new with this. Is it because of the old Azalia model? I've read at some post that you have to rename it as AZAL to HDEF? Also attached images for some details. Thank you. [link] [comments] |
