Hello Hackintosh Community, Given the sudden abundance of time I seem to have on hand these days, I decided that it might be in my best interest to install a copy of Mac OS High Seirra on my faithful ol' gaming rig because I enjoy Mac OS and the interface it provides. Initially, I used Clover and was able to successfully boot and run a near perfect installation; however, when I realized that OpenCore would be the future of hackintoshing I decided to jump ship and make the switch. After a couple of late nights of progress following this guide as closely as I possibly could; https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Desktop-Guide/ I was able to wipe my previous install and reinstall High Seirra using OpenCore. Even so, upon attempting to finish up my instillation, I'm greeted with an eventual error; kextd stall[0], (240s): AppleACPICPU. The extensive and well written guide from the link above did cover the issue, but simply stated to double check that Lilu.kext and VirtualSMC.kext are present within the kext folder and that they are in the correct order within the config.plist. Upon confirming this was the case, I looked to the third fix stated, which suggests substituting VirtualSMC for FakeSMC. Upon doing so and ensuring the correct order in the config.plist, I am greeted with the same error, and thus, at a standstill. I have attached a google drive link containing my EFI folder, a picture of the kernel, and my system specs below in the hopes that members of this community might be able to help me out. I have researched the issue extensively, but have only found results and potential solutions relating to Clover (rendering them useless to me). EFI Folder; https://drive.google.com/open?id=18fQN8bH_ty9DynQXCLBXXi3OK6wwDYOt System Specs; CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k (OC to 4.6 ghz, in case that information is relevant) GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 FTW Edition Motherboard; MSI Z97 PC Mate RAM: 16 GB ddr3 @ 1866 mhz Installation Disk; 2 TB Seagate SSHD I would immensely appreciate any help this community may be able to provide :) Thank you!
