I have an a old antique Land Rover and the general rule of thumb is never talk about how well its doing and never invest in anything cosmetic. Both are met with an immediate breakdown. I worry I'm risking the same thing in this post :)
Over the weekend I decided to upgrade my OC to see if it helped with some minor stability issues I was having (random reboots, input lag). I ended up having to create an entirely new OC install and was pleased that 1. I had retained a little bit of knowledge from the first time and 2. it felt easier.
The new guide is mostly great. There's some parts that were clearly not written by an expert in end user technical documentation :) but it's hard to fault anyone for what is overall a very comprehensive effort.
I also found theSanity Checker really helpful.
So far, I'm not having any input lag or performance issues... at the risk of jinxing everything, I think I can say it was a nice improvement!
