I have two successful Ryzentosh's (2700x/x470-f/rx580) & (3600/x470-i/5700xt) running Catalina 10.15.4 on OC 0.5.8. Everything 'works' except for Sidecar (except I still need to usb map my x470-f build).
I have seen many reddit posts re: Sidecar on Ryzen and it not being possible due to it needing an Intel iGPU -AND- others stating it works on Ryzen while using SMBios iMac 19,1 while using some additional boot-args. I'm currently using MacPro7,1 on both and don't want to switch anything around unless I'm sure the fix will work considering everything else works just fine.
Survey-
- What have been your experiences? Are there any viable workarounds or is Sidecar just not possible on Ryzen Hacs (for the time being)?
