Upgrading Z87 Build running on 10.14 to 10.15

Z87 board, GTX 780 card, i5-4670k CPU.

Currently running 10.14.6.

Everything works fine except for sleep/wake.

Updated Clover and all the kexts that I use.

Can i upgrade directly to 10.15 or do i HAVE to run a fresh installation?
