Unreliable BT with DW1830A card

I've done some googling and it seems some other folks have a similar problem - Can't figure out how to fix it.

I built a new system using Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro Wifi - Everything is working great, however BT is super flakey. I replaced the 'regular' Intel card with a DW1830A (14e4:43a3) and Wifi is working and BT will 'see' devices, but not connect to them. If I connect my Magic Keyboard via USB it auto-pairs, but once I disconnect USB it shows as 'disconnected' in BT.

I've confirmed the system sees the card via USB, although the port is showing as USB3 instead of Internal (need to work on that). It was working at one point, but I rebooted and now it won't 'come back'.

Is there is a specific M.2 card that works reliably with Catalina? I also have a DW1560 in my old motherboard, but I heard that doesn't work at all.

Upside is since I'm using OpenCore it reboots super fast when I need to try something new :)
