Tonymac now suggests gitMacOS... but they still ban using Windows.

Found a funny one for you guys. I was on the Tonymac forum and their front page now suggests gibMacOS as a way to download MacOS if "your intel Mac is approximately 2011 or older." The guide says nothing about Windows, and one of the first comments I saw on the thread was "can this guide be used on Windows," and it was deleted less than 24 hours later.

I loll'ed a little bit because the guide clearly says "Can also now build Internet Recovery USB installers from Windows using dd and 7zip." Before I got my Mac I had no way to get a USB to build a hack so it was very frustrating, and now there are good ways to get a legit version of the OS installer from Apple.

Tonymac still has some f'd up view of legality, they don't want anything to do with piracy and Windows, yet they are willfully installing Apple on hardware Apple explicitly says they can't? That's some screwed up logic if you ask me, and it's disrespectful to CorpNewt to take his article and make it their own like that. I'm sure he would not approve of them ommitting that useful little detail.
