Hi, apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I am looking to set up a dual boot hackintosh on a seperate SSD which I am currently in the market for.
My current system runs on a Ryzen 5 3600, Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz G.skill ram and a radeon 5700xt - the SSD I have for my windows install is an Aorus PCIE 4.0 m.2 SSD, and ideally I'd like to just get a second one of those to run macOS.
I am wondering if anyone has done a successful install on a PCIE 4.0 SSD, and if so what SSD did you get? I've heard of plenty of problems with certain m.2 SSD's, also heard that the Samsung 970 Pro is a good choice for m.2. But since I've got PCIE 4.0 compatibility on my board, it'd be nice to be able to make use of the extra speed. If no one can confirm that any PCIE 4.0 SSD's will work, I'll probably go with the safe choice and get a Samsung.
