New System (vs MacMini)

Hi,

I'm currently thinking about buying a new system. It started with my wife wanting to have an iMac 27. And since I already have an good 4k screen, I convinced her that we should buy a Mac Mini instead.

Because I use Adobe Creative suite, I wanted to get at least 16GB of RAM and 6 cores. After configurating the Mac Mini I wanted, I compared that price to the actual hardware that´s inside. I allready made an Hackintosh 2 years ago and it went all good, so I tought about making my own Mac Mini.

This is the hardware I chose and I added some alternatives with my related questions:

  • Intel Core i7-9700
  • Kingston HyperX Predator 32GB (HX426C13PB3K2/32)
  • ASUS ROG Strix H370-I Gaming -----> cheaper alternative: ASRock H310M-ITX/ac, but in the Anti-Hackintosh-Buyers-Guide it is writen that ASRock is not a good choice. Is that still the case? Because the Asus is the only one with DP 1.2 that is not from MSI, ASRock or Gigabyte. Could I just go with the cheaper ASRock?
  • Noctua NH-L9i
  • Kolink Rocket -----> I wanted the add my RTX2070 inside it. Using the UHD from the CPU when booting MACOS and using the RTX when booting to WINDOWS. Is it possible to do that, in a way that clover does this automaticaly without needing to change settings before choosing the boot drive?

If I go for the real Mac Mini, I would use the RTX with an eGPU case. I would also like to get an idea of your personal opinion. I will use this as main System and it has to be 95% reliable. Is the Mac Mini option with eGPU the more expensive but the better choice?

Thank you in advance!
