Apple 0 : Hackintosh 1
I am happy to report my first successful hackintosh build. Please look through it. I have one annoying issue that would be awesome to resolve apart from that it works like a charm. Best of all i only paid 125EUR.
Catalina 10.15.4
Specs:
- Lenovo Tiny M93P
- 16Gb 1600Hz DDR RAM,
- 2.89GHz Dual Core Intel 5 i5. 4th Gen.
- 500Gb Samsung SSD EVO (initially came with WinPro 180Gb)
- Mine has 2 Display Port outputs at the back.
- Using a Wireless Keyboard/Mouse AllinOne combo from front left USB port.
I followed the TechNolli Build video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1pnWKNaqUs&t=1249s and used his config.plist. Thanks!

Problems with this Hackintosh Build:
- WIFI not working, ok no surprise here. Could use WIFI dongle or if you are like me don't care. Since have Ethernet anyway. No More radiation! ☢️
- Problem when you disconnect the desktop monitor of the main display port it will boot but then just stops finishing the booting into the OS. Seems it checks if there is a monitor present. It doesn't like the TV screen on the main display port. It doesn't like the TV on the second display port if its the only one connected. My friend who has built the same has used an HDMI dongle to fake a connected monitor and system would boot into OS, he is using Mojave though, and i tried the same using an DP->HDMI dongle but it still wouldn't work. I am trying out a DP->VGA dongle, since it doesn't feed back information about the monitor. But i would like to get this issued solved by the OS, turning off this monitor check somewhere. Its thinking its an iMac 14,2 so maybe iMacs need a monitor since they are built in, so it stops booting because of that. Can i just switch from an iMac to a MacMini in Clover settings ? Will that work? I don't want to try and fuck it up. Anyone got any suggestion that will work?
- The third and most annoying issue is that AppleTV doesn't work. You can log in iCloud etc,you can see all the TV shows, but when you click on a free episode the window opens and then shuts again immediately. Initially for a few hours it would play the video. Then even after a complete reinstall since i thought i fucked up the install somehow, even then it wouldnt work anymore. Seems Apple has blocked my iCloud ID from using AppleTV on this hackintosh somehow. I tried changing the serial number etc in the EFI folder using Clover. Still not working to this day. Has anyone got any experience with that?
Thanks for your advice/help.
