I'm running High Sierra through OpenCore on my Ryzen 5 3600/1070. I have QE/CI, everything works. Except that during what seems like any disk IO (using an NVMe SSD), the mouse and keyboard begin to stutter. So the mouse will jump around the screen, and the keyboard will miss three quarters of all input.
I'm loading the following kexts via OpenCore, all of which (including OC) were latest versions at the time of install yesterday:
- AppleALC
- Lilu
- RealtekRTL8111
- VirtualSMC
- WhateverGreen
I have the compiled SSDT aml for Zen (SSDT-EC-USBX) and the plist patches for Zen. The OpenCore Sanity Checker finds no issues with my config.plist, which I made from scratch for my system.
Has anyone seen an issue like this before? At first I thought it was just because I didn't have QE/CI, but it's persisted since installing webdrivers. Could it be some issue with my SSD?
If it's helpful, my full specs:
- Ryzen 5 5600
- MSI B450M Mortar Max
- GeForce 1070
- Intel Pro 6000p 256GB NVMe SSD
