Lenovo M93p CPU Upgrade

Hi guys,

Just wondering if someone here had upgraded the CPU on these? I was planning to buy the Intel Xeon E3-1275L v3.

I am currently running Catalina 10.5.4 without any issues, however I do experience a bit of lag and bottleneck when I open up a lot of tasks.

I am thinking maybe it's CPU related? Or could it be RAM related? I am currently running 8GB memory @ 1600Mhz clock speed.
