Hello, this is my first time ever making a Hackintosh! I got this laptop new for a buck (seriously) and Windows 10 has been nothing but issues on it so I decided I wanted macOS.
I'm having an issue where it will freeze on the Apple logo after selecting "Boot macOS Install from Install macOS Catalina" in Clover. There is no progress bar, just a white background with grey Apple logo.
I used the setup guide from Hackintosher to prepare my usb stick. I know it's for Mojave but I was only able to figure out how to get Catalina from the store in my virtual machine (I'm still extremely new to macOS, too). I've tried using the EFI folder Hackintosher provided as option 2 and I've tried making my own from scratch. I freeze in the same spot no matter which one I use. I'm using r5111 of Clover found on the GitHub and since r5112 was just released 40 minutes ago and I haven't tried it.
Here's a Google Drive Link to my CLOVER file in the EFI partition.
Some things I have tried:
- Different USB Ports
- Remaking the USB from scratch (multiple times)
- Running in verbose mode will end with a bunch of +++++++++++
- With and without nv_disable=1 and kext-dev-mode=1 as boot args

I know I've tried more things but these are the only ones I could remember.
If I'm missing any important information, I will gladly update this post!
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
