Dell Inspiron 7580 with only one drive. Where to go from here (only 1 drive)

Here are the details of my Windows 10 laptop:

• Motherboard model (and model number): Inspiron 7580
• CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 1992 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
• GPU (2 apparently?):
  1. Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620
  2. NVIDIA GeForce MX250 Install method: Clover?

What are my next steps from here? One of my main concerns is that I want to have some sort of dual boot setup, such that I can just destroy one of the operating systems if it is interfering or is not installed correctly without worrying about anything, but the thing is I only have a single SSD drive.

• What is the safest way to do this?
• How long will it take to setup this entire thing? Is my laptop even compatible? I really want to set Mac up, but I'm not sure if I can do it without screwing up my computer entirely.
• Is there anything specific in my case that I need to be concerned about?
