Success, after 8-10 attempts at USB and about 5 different guides... Ryzen 3600 RX5700XT X570

I've done it, finally.

After following multiple different guides (all claiming to be vanilla) watching all the videos, yep, all of them (snazzy labs is great to get an idea of how it all goes together but he's just following a guide and misses a few important bits) and a few melt downs I have a 90% working Ryzen 3600 and RX 5700XT build.

Parts:

Ryzen 3600

RX 5700XT

X570 Phantom gaming ITX TB3 mobo

5K Ultrafine first gen monitor (TB3 only).

The reason I bought this mobo was for the DP in and TB3 out which I hoped would work with my TB3 only display, I found a few posts saying it should so took the plunge.

Windows set up was super easy with everything being detected automatically including speakers and cam, I enjoyed a month or so of gaming before deciding to take the plunge with macOS.

Oh boy things have changed since I built my last Intel Hack, OC is way more complex and less beginner friendly, it got to a point where I thought it might just be an in joke I wasn't in on and it wasn't even a thing that worked, but after a couple of tweaks to my bios it finally got to the instal screen and after that it was plain sailing, even iMessages and those gubbins worked after a couple of log in's and log outs. Going to link to a couple of Notion pages I wrote up incase they are any help to anyone.

Thanks again to all who helped (on the Discord). Hack Slav for the awesome guide. Corp for being an awesome human being and making all the tools I used.

Issues to currently fix:

Bluetooth - it shows up but couldn't connect ot my AirPods, I have no idea how it saw them as I dont think I even included a BT kext. Might get a dongle?

USB ports on monitor, no idea where to start with this, have seen the USB guide but not sure if thats enough.
