Hello my dear friends, I hope everyone is safe during these hard times.
I am a professional photographer and wanted to ask about setting a new machine for work.
At office I always connect 2 displays with usb-c - display port. Daily I heavily use photoshop combining raw files which is the most challenging for computer power.
Right now I use a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016), 2,6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3, Radeon Pro 460 4 GB, Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB which is getting slow especially when connected to my monitors.
I don't want to go to windows because I am really deep in the apple ecosystem. Also the office has limited space and I am specially cautious about hiding cables and have the simplest and cleanest setup.
Mac pro is overkill for me and iMac Pro is expensive and dont need their monitor. Already have an iMac for second machine which I use without display for now.
What do you think should I set up a machine and go for Hackintosh or wait for some new Mac machines in the next months? I have no experience with Hackintosh and I am afraid of the stability of setting something for work.
Thank you.
