Newbie with a gtx 1070

I am staring to gather the required files for a Hackintosh installation and I now realize that there are no drivers for GTX 1070s for Catalina.

What I want: a) basic usage including iCloud and Photostream support b) 144hz @ 1440p

My z170 motherboard does have a DisplayPort which I am assuming should work. I will probably need to continue using Nvidia GPUs for my next few builds considering my display has Gsync and not Freesync. My questions:

1) Without drivers, what sort of limitations will I experience with with a 1070 on Catalina. I am not looking for any 3d/graphics usage—but 144hz at 1440p would be cool.

2) If I use the DisplayPort on the motherboard, will I need to take additional steps to “disable” the 1070?
