I’m still fighting my osx86 rig I upgraded from sandy bridge to skylake. I’m now to the dual graphics issue that dual GPUs get where it hangs or boots to a black screen. And I’ve had it.
I would love to go to MacOS Catalina, but my GTX 980 (and planned RTX 2080Ti) wouldn’t work in Catalina, unless a miracle happens.
I do fairly light gaming in windows ... state of decay 2, Batman games, Apex, etc.... but I do plan on buying a 1440p ultrawide 100hz monitor.
Would I notice a huge difference with the 2080ti vs best Radeon? Or would I be better to figure out GPU switching or just switch cables whenever I switch OS?
