Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but basically after having tried to build a fully functioning hackintosh over the last few days, and not succeeding (mainly due to lack of time), I decided to go back to Linux. Problem is that now that I've got my distro reinstalled my WIFI seems to be hard blocked. So my question, that I've tried googling to no avail, is whether Clover modifies any EFI variables, or does any other things that persist even when Clover is removed. The reason I ask is that in my install there are multiple EFI vars with names such '...fakesmc...' or 'apple_recovery...', which I'm pretty sure are not linux related.
Some background on my config/hardware:
I had to add a DSDT patch, otherwise my install would hang on 'apfs_module_start'.
My laptop has an Intel Wifi card which as you all know arent' supported by macOS, so I'm wondering whether Clover changed anything to disable it.
In my BIOS, wifi is enabled, and my laptop does not have a physical wifi switch, but in my install it shows it as a hardware block.
My current bootloader is Grub.
Any help in regards to this would be appreciated. Thanks.
