I've run Clover on my Hackintosh for awhile and have run into this issue a few times with my macOS/Windows/Ubuntu setup on my MSI GL72M 7RDX. I have 2 drives, one NAND SSD with Clover, the other with Win/Grub on it. To get my system working properly I need to boot with only the macOS SSD installed, select it as the boot drive in the BIOS. Then install the other drive and everything works properly.
The issue I run into is if something gets messed up with the BIOS and it forgets the macOS drive. I'll go into the settings and only see Windows Boot Manager and Ubuntu as options. The question I have is whether there is something I can do to make that drive show up in this instance. The back of the drive takes like 17 screws to remove, so I like to do that as infrequently as possible. I'd love to find a way to get this to show up properly through configuration than through taking my laptop apart everytime.
