Are Intel 7th gen (kaby lake) not supported by mac os....?

I have i5 7400 and I am curious to install mac os on it... But some websites are showing kaby lakes are not supported with mac os....?

If any one using i5 7400+16gb ram and mac os, can tell me how it performs if we compare it with equally priced original mac machine....?
