Using migration assistant on opencore

Wondering if anyone knows the proper way to use migration assistant from a clover Mojave install to an Opencore Catalina install Wether its from a time machine backup or from the Mojave ssd itself Please help I’ve tried and failed numerous times The system wouldn’t boot after, showing only the apple logo Thanks
