Hello there, just yesterday I have managed to get my Ryzen system up and running using the vanilla guide for Mojave after having attempted on and off for 3 weeks. It is my first desktop hackintosh and I just couldn't live with myself after giving up multiple times so I ended up trying again each time. It finally paid off.
Here are my system specs :
Ryzen 7 2700 @ 4GHz
16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM
Msi B450 Gaming Plus
XFX Radeon HD7850 2GB (OOB support in MacOS)
Gigabyte GTX 1660TI (disables in MacOS, used for gaming on Windows)
Performance on MacOS is a bit better than Windows and Linux (over 100 extra points in Cinebench R15). This was also true on the 3 other laptop Hackintoshes that I have built. This OS runs better than Windows even on 100% unsupported hardware. Incredible !
I was having GPU issued and I didn't realise it for a while. I had first followed the video guide from SnazzyLabs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_QPLl81GrY) and the troubleshooting page from OpenCore but despite resolving every boot issue I encountered I wasn't able to get it to boot the installer.
In order to run my very old AMD GPU (radeon HD7850) that was marked as "supported out of the box" on the vanilla GPU guide, I had to use and extra kext named "AMD7000Controller.kext" in addition to Lilu and WhateverGreen (Thanks to this guide : https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/11048-amd-radeon-hd-7750-supported-by-mac-os-mojave-catalina/)
Inexplicably, my ethernet chipset (Realtek RT8111H) refused to work in the installer no matter what I did (yes, I had the correct kext). To overcome this issue I used another hackintosh to create a full system install USB from MacOS using Terminal createinstall (instead of the recovery only USB that I had) so I wouldn't need internet. After booting for the first time and whit-out any tweaks Ethernet was working.
Hope this can help somebody and if you have issues with your hackintosh, I might be able to help a little bit (not an expert at all).
