I've been putting together the parts to build my first hackintosh for audio production using PcPartPicker, and I'm just curious if anyone could give me some advice for getting the best program compatibility with Ryzen 3700x.
Is it really worth just going with an i9 9900k?
I plan on using Logic Pro X, and possibly FL Studio.I already have an audio interface, so onboard audio isn't really an issue.I'm not sure if I really care about WIFI since I won't be moving it.I would like Bluetooth to work.I have been looking on YouTube extensively for reviews of compatibility with this processor for audio production specifically in a hackintosh, but there's slim pickings.
For anyone interested in the parts I have assembled:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700xCPU COOLER: Noctua NH-D15 ChromaxMOBO: Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite ATXRAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB @ 3200mhzStorage: Samsung 970 Evo 1TB M.2 NVMEGPU: MSI Radeon RX 5700 blower coolerCase: Azza Cube 802PSU: Corsair RM850i (from a previous build)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
