Hi everyone, I have a Sapphire Nitro + 5700 XT which is mostly working well, but I have a potentially big and worrying problem with it.
This card has a zero RPM fan feature where the fans are completely off below a certain temperature, it seems to be working well most of the time : as soon as I launch something GPU intensive the fans start... However when my hack "wakes up" from display sleep (pmset sleep is 0 and displaysleep is 1), the fan control is messed up and fans stay off even for a high load, and that makes me very worried about damaging the card (I hope that it throttles internally, it's hard to say anything because there are no sensor reads for navi cards yet AFAIK). Going to full sleep and waking up is fine and resets fan control correctly.
Has anyone run in this sort of problem, or has a solution to suggest ?
My setup : Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro (f12d MSR unlock), i5 9600K, fenvi t919, Clover (+OCQuirks), SMBIOS 19,1 with iGPU on.
