Is there any board that needs LITTLE tinkering to run Mojave or Catalina and have a fully working Hack

Is there any board that needs LITTLE tinkering to run Mojave or Catalina and have a fully working Hack?. At least one with fully documented process of installation, written by real users that can confirm everything is working.

I want to have ‘sleep’ and no problems turning it off. No random crashes and 3d acceleration working. I don’t want to spend a lot of money, i want something in the middle range.

I want to get a mobo, 16gb of Ram and a AMD 3d card. After searching a lot I see that even with updated hardware there is always some tinkering needed - I knew it already -, but I’m a little bit tired of it.

After two weeks fighting with my build to have a fully functional Mojave I surrender. My build can’t wake up after sleepno matter what I try, and forums and help haven’t helped this time. So I think it’s time for an upgrade as I come from a Sandy Bridge hack.

I plan to remove the old board from the box and put in the new one.... so I need a solution that works, because returning back the components is a pain.
