Hey there guys,
Computer Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i9-9900k
Graphics Card: AMD RX580 & GTX 1080
RAM: 64GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 Mhz
Motherboard: Asus Prime Z390-A
PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus 750W Platinum
Cooler: Corsair H150i Pro 360MM
Case: CORSAIR Obsidian 500D
So I am currently trying to figure out a solution to an issue that I am having with my Hackintosh, that only seems to have started recently.
When I render files in Adobe Media Encoder, anytime rendering is taking place, the entire operating system is choppy and kind of "laggy". THE SECOND the rendering finishes, everything is smooth and back to normal.
I checked Activity Monitor and it seems that the GPU % hovers around 70. The % shown of the CPU is in the hundreds, so I am unsure how to accurately read that. But my assumption is the it's using a lot of the GPU which is causing the rest to lag until the renders finish.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
