Dual Boot against Windows install on separate disk?

I have windows 10 installed on my machine already, I'd rather not wipe it if I can help it.

I have a spare drive I'd like to install OSX on and run them side by side so I can use Logic Pro X.

Is this possible?

Also, I do not have access to a mac to make a usb installer, so I was going to use Transmac since i saw it in another guide online.
