I'm trying to make make a bootable Catalina installer using a thumb drive, but I don't have a USB-C adapter for it for my MacBook Pro. I'm not sure if I can avoid getting an adapter for it, but I'd like to try. My idea was to make the bootable installer, but install that (somehow?) in my main Macintosh HD (kind of as if it were a normal app/folder). I'm not sure if this even makes sense/is possible. The idea was to then transfer THAT from my Mac to my PC through wifi, and then add it into the thumb drive on my PC (which has actual USB-A ports). Is this possible at all, or am I going to have go get an adapter?
Another issue is probably going to be the Clover Bootloader. Basically, can I do the same thing with that, too?
I assume none of this is possible and I'm just going to have to get an adapter tomorrow, but it's worth asking in the meantime.
