Hello good people,
So I'm prepared moneywise to spend about ~$2500 for a brand new PC / Hackintosh build and I'm almost set on my hardware decisions - only the CPU gives me headache.
The rest of the hardware I have picked:
- RAM: 32GB DDR4-3600 G. Skill Trident Z Royal RGB silver Quad Kit
- GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX5700 XT
- CASE: NZXT H510 Elite (with 2 extra AER2 120 RGB Fans)
- COOLING: NZXT Kraken X62 280mm AIO
- OS DRIVES: 2x 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe
- EXTRA DRIVE: 1x 960GB Corsair MP510 NVMe
- PSU: Corsair HX750 Platinum
I'm torn between following CPU & Motherboard combos:
- i9-9900KS & Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Xtreme
- i9-10900K & High-End Motherboard incl. TB3
- i9-10900X & ASUS Prime X299-Deluxe II
- Ryzen 3950X & ASRock X570 Taichi (+ TB3 Card)
The softwares I'm working with are mainly Logic Pro X, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator. It's important for me that I can work with all of those applications without bigger struggle and headaches. I want to get the most performance out of it. Is AMD Ryzen still bad for Hackintoshes & Adobe apps?
I will be gaming under Windows 10, but don't consider this too much in my decision making as all CPUs are very good for gaming.
Now I could basically wait until probably end of January / February for a "maybe" release of 10th Gen Intel processor, but I need this computer for my business as well (yes, I run a hackintosh for my business and I'm quite happy!) so I don't want to wait until February…
What would you suggest me?
