Are XFX Radeon VII cards good for Hackintosh?

Reading the GPU Buyer's Guide, I see XFX listed as brand to avoid. But the guide doesn't make clear if this is only for the Vega series cards, or if it includes the XFX version of the Radeon VII as well.

Since the Radeon VII is EOL, they're now hard to find, but XFX cards are still available new from Best Buy and apparently when purchased at Best Buy come with a lifetime warranty. They even allow modified cooling solutions under warranty. This is appealing and would be a lot easier than trying to get a deal on eBay.

The question is do these cards actually work with Hackintosh?

Anyone have any experienced with XFX Radeon VII? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks!
