Anyone knows a method to make an old M-Audio Fast Track (not pro) work with latest Mojave?

Latest drivers (1.9.6) worked until High Sierra. Now they hang iTunes and anything that uses audio (such as Youtube videos).

Latest Mojave here, with an Asus Gryphon Z97, i74790K, 32 Gb Ram. Installed vanilla (in fact, have been upgrading this computer since Yosemite).
