What risks are associated with posting a config.plist file including the serial number?

Since this sub-reddit didn't let me post the question without adding additional information, here it is: I usually store my EFI configurations on GitHub, because I can easily look them up and also refer to them when asking questions on r/hackintosh.

Should I remove the serial numbers from the config.plist files before uploading? What malicious attacks are possible, if someone knows my serial numbers? Is there any other data in the config.plist file that should be removed?

It was a simple question, why did it get removed?
