I have a fresh High Sierra Install, my hardware looks as followed: CPU : Intel - Core i7-8700K CPU Cooler : Corsair - H100i v2 Motherboard : MSI - Z370M GAMING PRO AC (Realtek® ALC1220 Codec) Memory : ADATA - 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Memory Storage : 2x Samsung - 970 EVO 500GB Video Card : MSI - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB ARMOR Video Card ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Headphone jack is working for audio. I have tried multiple USB audio interfaces so the interface is not the issue (also works fine in Windows). All other USB devices are working. The model of the interface is Mackie Big Knob Studio: The device shows in sound preferences: My Kexts/Other folder looks like this: I have injected audio layout 1 as this has worked for my hardware in the past, also is supported by my codec, referenced here. I have also tested the other layouts as well. Since this is a fresh install I assume I am missing a kext in S/L/E or L/E but I could be wrong. I feel like most posts regarding this issue are outdated so I was hoping to gain some knowledge on the issue here, and help some people out in the future with the post. Thanks much!
