Hello everybody,
I have bought some hardware for building my dream computer 4 months ago and at that time, i looked on the Tonymacx86's buyer's guide to get a hackintosh proof motherboard and some other stuff, you can find my full config below.
- Intel Core I5 9600K
- 16GB Ram RGB Corsair
- ASUS PRIME Z390-P
- AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
- 256 GB Samsung SSD
I knew that the graphic card had high chances of being supported (as said Morgonaut in a video) so I waited untill it was officially announced to make my hackintosh installation.
It was not my first time installing a hackintosh, i did it three years ago the vanilla way (I had a macbook at that time so it was easy to create usb sticks) and i know that it can be hard to find the right settings for your hardware.
As it was christmas i had the opportunity to use my sister's macbook to create a memory stick (today i don't own a mac anymore unfortunately) and I tried to run the installation as soon as I came back home.
But it didn't work, even with all the settings used for the bios in this video (i have almost the same motherboard as the one used by Morgonaut).
The error message was something like
ACPI Exception : AE_NOT_FOUND
Followed by :
ACPI Error : 7 table load failures
The problem is I didn't take note of my old bios settings and windows 10 didn't want to boot anymore (kill me please i'm stoopid) so i had to make a fresh install of Windows 10, erasing the memory stick with Hackintosh on it (yay).
Once back in Windows 10, i remembered that Niresh existed but that didn't help (I had the error below)
apfs module start 1334
*Note : Sorry if the error messages are not full, it's taken from my cached google search bar on my phone*
If anyone has a method to install MacOs on this config or has done something similar it would be great to tell me the right way to do it !
Have a great day and merry christmas !
