[HELP - Catalina] Stuck at "AppleHDAEngineInput::performFormatChange" during initial install

Problem: Numerous boots in a row have ended with it hanging at "AppleHDAEngineInput::performFormatChange" or "AppleHDAEngineOutput::performFormatChange". Pictures will be attached shortly.

I've been using a number of different guides found on the internet, finally settling on and using the recommendations of this guide found here. USB installer and Config.plist were generated using the Vanilla guide and then additions made (with the exception of iGPU specific items) using the guide linked above.

Components:

  • Mobo: ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX
  • CPU: Intel i7-9700k
  • GPU: PowerColor Red Dragon 5700XT
  • RAM: G.Skill Aegis 32GB
  • SSDs: WD Black and Sabrent Rocket

Audio: Inject 11 / Reset HDA true
