Sorry for the awful text format but I wrote the post on my iPhone. So, I have an MSI GF63-8RD with Win10 and macOS 10.15.1 installed on two separate disks. The second disk, however, is an external HDD which I have installed macOS on. (I can’t have 2 SATA disks on my laptop so the external one is for testing macOS only), and after testing a bit, I encountered some problems. These problems are:
•Intel UHD 630 shows only 7MB of video memory in “About This Mac” sections, even after editing the config.plist in Clover Congifurator, applying all the known pachtches and rebooting several times. •Audio is missing and I have no sound, the volume bar is grayed and in the settings my sound card doesn’t appear. (I have installed AppleALC.kext, patched it with AppleALCPatcher, grabbed another vanilla one after seeing that the patch is not working, and edited the config.plist in the CloverConfigurator app with the corresponding layout-id) •SMBIOS doesn’t change even after rebooting and it still show the iMac 27" in the “About This Mac" section and in the Clover Bootloader •macOS external HDD is recognized only by the USB flash drive’s Clover Bootloader, when booting Clover Bootloader from the Windows SSD the USB flash drive and the macOS HDD don’t show up •dGPU is not disabled and the power button light shows that it is turned on, and after applying the boot args and an aml patch it still doesn’t turn off
What can I do to solve all these issues? (specs are below)
