Planning my first Hackintosh. 2D/3D design workstation. Which processor?

I’m planning my first Hackintosh to replace my Mac Pro 2010.

I’ll be using it with creative suite apps and cinema 4d and Houdini.

Right now I have an 850 watt psu and 2 1080s and a titan x.

I’m debating the pros and cons of the Ryzen and intel forks. This will be my first build and my first Hackintosh.

I know I’m going to want 128gb of ram.

Looking for advice on which way to go. Considering the threadripper, the Ryzen 3900, and the i9.
