I recently migrated from Clover to OpenCore, and I have everything working great. However, I couldn't quite figure out the audio part. I know that I need to specify an AppleALC layout ID which goes under config.plist > DeviceProperties > Add, but since OpenCore only accepts an 8-byte value rather than the raw number like it did in Clover, it is a bit trickier since I don't know how to translate to an 8-byte format. If Inject=7 (for ALC1220A, as per the supported codecs table) used to work for me in Clover, what would be my layout-id in OpenCore?
Not that I think it matters, but here are my specs for good measure:
CPU: Intel Core i7-7800X
Motherboard: Asus Prime X299-A
Memory: 16GB DDR4-2400
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 980 Ti
OS: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G9016)
