Hello;
Computer Specs
AMD Ryzen 2600X
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070Ti
MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon
8 gb RAM
I have been attempting to install High Sierra for a while now. I have tried multiple guides including Vanilla and Transmac. I am able to boot into the OSX recovery menu. I can view my drives and all that, but I am unable to connect to a network. Whenever I try to install High Sierra, I get a message saying "Recovery Server could not be contacted"
My Mobo's LAN chipset is Intel i211AT. The kext I am using is SmallTreeIntel82576.kext; I am even using the patched version with the lines <key>OSBundleRequired</key><string>Root</string> added to the end of info.plst as mentioned here. https://forum.amd-osx.com/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=9379
I have a feeling that my config.plst is not set up correctly, and I don't know if that is the problem but it worries me. A guy sent me his config because we had the same processor, and said everything should work fine. When I'm in the Clover bootloader, I need to manually set the SMBIOS to something other than iMac19,1 that it is set at. I have tried to edit the config using Clover Cloud Editor and Proper tree using different guides, but I just cannot wrap my head around it.
Has anyone with a similar build had a similar problem with the network connection?
And is it at all possible someone could help me with my config. I want to understand if it is set up correctly and if it is causing the LAN issue.
Here is a think to my config: http://www.filedropper.com/config
And I don't know if this will help but here's my entire clover bootloader: http://www.filedropper.com/clover
Thanks to anyone who read this.
