Issues with XFX rx 580 8GB, Black screen on boot unless I sleep the system then wake it up

XFX has been supported since high serria egpu updated and worked fine in high serria but in Mojave I get a black screen display has signal but is off, I can get into the os by making the system sleep either via remote software or letting it sleep on its own. Than everything works fine is their any fix for this. I have whatever green and lilu installed but no effect
