Hey guys,
I bought a MacBook Pro 15" back in 2014 and ever since I've been hooked on Mac OS, but I'm looking for some more power at home that I can upgrade along the way, which is why I've been on the lookout for an upgradeable Mac.
I would imagine Hackintosh to generally have better performance and more flexibility as I can get more recent components and have full upgradability, but I also want as smooth a Mac experience as possible on a day to day basis, although I don't mind some extra work as part of a one time setup.
What are the pros/cons of Hackintosh vs Mac Pro 5.1? Is it possible to get the full tinker-free Mac OS experience from Hackintosh on a day to day basis? Are there any performance degradations (lagg, delay, software, hardware, etc.) using Hackintosh compared to a native Mac OS machine? Would I have any problems running both Mac OS and Windows on Hackintosh? Are there other important things I should consider in terms of making this choice?
