If I were to pick up a thunderbolt display, My assumption is that I could connect it via my video card's Mini Displayport output and lose Thunderbolt hub functionality. What about if I were to set up a Thunderbolt add-on card? Would connecting it to that negate having a video card? Or would my gpu still process my video and just output it through the Thunderbolt card? Thanks.
