What is a recent version of macOS that I can use to turn my HP Elitebook 8440p into a hackintosh?

I today found an old HP Eltebook 8440p in my store room. I searched for a recent version of macOS for my laptop on the internet but all it shows are really old versions of macOS. I need a reasonably recent version of macOS to do my stuff. So I came here to ask your opinion. What would be the best macOS version for my laptop that is kinda recent?
