Hi all,
I have installed a few AMD hackintoshes in the past but using distros. These are great, but wanted to go for a vanilla install for ease of updating and better stability.
I currently have a working install on a drive of a distro or High Sierra that is mostly stable and works fine
However, following the guide to a T I am unable to get past booting to the installer, getting stuck on the RandomSeed+++++++++++ error.
This is on 10.13.6
My hardware is as follows:
AsRock b450 Pro4 Ryzen 2500 980ti 16gb Vengence memory
What I’ve Tried; Changing USB ports Removing sticks of memory Trying different config files Loaded all recommended Kexts Loaded all recommended Config / Drivers Changing some bios settings (may be missing things) Resetting bios Custom Config patches (think they were done correctly)
Using various memory patches in the Efi Folder...too many to list but you know the ones.
Bootflags:
-v npci=0x2000 dart=0 darkwake=0 slide=0
And other combinations. These are the flags used to properly boot into my working distro as well as already found in the default for the clover installer.
Please, any direction would be helpful. Not ready to give up but I have visited just about every link in the internet!
