Hi, I'm considering to have another hack after 2 years of break. My first hack was a laptop that didn't have any guide and I had to do everything manually with the help of RehabMan and others.
This time is for desktop and I'm happy to see it's much easier to have it without patching every single thing to make them work. I have a few questions before beginning though.
I'll install Mojave with Vanilla Guide. And my h/w specs: MSI H97 Gaming 3 Intel H97 Express (Intel 9 Series) - Intel Core i5-4690 - Intel HD 4600 & MSI GeForce GTX 650 Ti PE O.C. - DDR3 1600 MHz Memory 8 GB (4x2 Kit) - 240 GB 2.5" SATA 3.0 SSD (2X, 1 for Win10, 1 for MacOS) - 17" 5:4 1280x1024 LCD Monitor.

SMBIOS, since I have i5-4690 and iMac 15,1 refresh has the same CPU, I should use iMac 15,1 right? But then, I have GTX 650 Ti and iMac 14,2 is the only one that has dGPU. So what should I you use? 14,1/14,2/15,1?

Properties device-id: Since I have GTX 650 Ti, I should use BAASBA== which is used when the iGPU is only used for compute tasks, and doesn't drive a display rigth? The default value in the sample config is AwAiDQ== (this is used when the iGPU is used to drive a display)
-
SIP, since we only inject kext from Clover, Why do we keep SIP disabled? Should we enable it both for installation USB or on Post installation?

I have an old LCD monitor with 5:4 aspect ratio and 1280x1024 resolution. Do I need any config for this display? iMacs have 1080p and 5K resolution.

Using real AppleID with the hack. I read lots of posts about Apple cancelled AppleIDs that are used on hacks back in the days. What are the risks now? If we set everything properly (unique serial etc) what are the chances of being caught?

I'm considering to upgrade the RAM. I have 3 options:
- Get another 8GB kit (4x2) and have 16GB in total with 4 sticks.
- Get 16GB kit (8x2) and have 24GB in total. I think MacOS might not like this configuration?
- Get 16GB kit (8x2), get rid of 8GB (4x2) and have 16GB in total.
What do you suggest?
Thanks!
