iMessage miraculously not working anymore - Can you help

Somehow I managed to destroy iMessage. This happened after I installed the supplemental Mac 14.6 update.

Whenever I try to login to iMessage it is telling me that it could not activate the service.

Is there any tip where to check or what to do to get it working again?
