I've got my hack ironed out over the last 1.5 years and feel 99 percent safe on it. The one percent is thunderbolt which I have working and know all the quirks to it but it feels like the only part of this thing justifying the word "hack." I digress, I know it's getting closer to resolved.
Anyways I wanted to get some opinions on the move from 8700 to 9900k on my Asus Prime z370a (will be upgraded to the mark 2). My Geekbench 4 score now is 28,880 (I believe my Geekbench 5 score was around 6900, nice) and I want to get to 40,000 or it's equivalent or higher.
Does anyone have this setup? Could you get it this high? What was your cooler?
