So, in Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave I was able to get the battery indicator working via DSDT patches from RH for my Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p and the acpibatterymannager.kext. But now in order to update to Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina I enabled the hotpatch to change EC0 to EC and the battery indicator stopped working. I can't disable it cause it seems to be required in order to use Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina. Also, "System Information" indicates that there is no battery connected to the Notebook, which is funny since I can use it without ac and its fine
I don't think it's Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina's fault cause I've booted up Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave via a backup I made and the battery didn't show up while having changed EC0 to EC
I found this but the problem seems a little different from mine
